World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Product Owner to support our growing and transformational Financial Operations Product Team located in Saint Louis, MO.

Product Owners work across customers, stakeholders and teams to drive business value enablement through innovative solutions. Product Owners may create new, ground breaking solutions for customers, automate and revolutionize the work our customers and business partners do, or implement business systems/processes that enable us to scale our efforts based on continued value recognition and measurements. + Primary Focuses: Business Relationships, Valuation, and Strategy/Planning

+ Ability to successfully facilitate IT, Business and Customer meetings, Organize work and people, Creates timelines, plans, and statuses

+ Ability to gather and analyze data

+ Ability to identify and recommend scalable solutions to problems

+ Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. Written, Spoken, and other media.

+ Ability to negotiate and have difficult conversations at all levels of the organization

+ Builds and Maintains Relationships with Stakeholders and Teams

+ Assists in updates to and influences changes to business processes, roles and duties of Business Unit in alignment with industry standards

+ Responsible for Prediction, Measurement, and Re-Measurement of Value

+ Consistently measures Value with numbers and reports discrepancies to stakeholders

+ Provides Long Term Strategy, Current Strategy, and ongoing Releases

+ Has an IT Strategy that fully aligns to business strategy

+ Clear alignment and ability to articulate how IT can enable the business strategy

+ Utilizes story mapping for users stories to team and clearly aligns those stories to releases

+ Able to quickly pivot to address needs and then returns to or adjusts strategy


o Prioritizes the product backlog and coordinates with stakeholders including the Product Manager, other Product Owners, the market, and the team to deliver maximum value and quality to the market

o Serves as a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains

o Develops an understanding of the target market and user base; Uses this to guide product decisions

o Develops epics and user stories for all new functionality, presents user stories to product teams, and ensures new functionality meets the acceptance criteria

o Partners with stakeholders to help define Minimal Viable Product (MVP) that delivers incremental value; Ensures MVP aligns with strategic goals

o Works with Project Manager, Scrum Master and other Product Owners to do release planning.

o Works with other Product Owners to ensure dependencies are prioritized appropriately across teams

o Inspects, accepts, or rejects completed work from the sprint

o Communicates work in progress and upcoming work to key stakeholders

o Possess a thorough understanding of both agile and lean software development values and principles; be able to identify opportunities for and guide teams through execution of lean IT experiments
