Accounting Specialist 4

Reconciles and maintains various Demand Deposit Accounts (DDA) and General Ledgers (GL). Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed. Conducts research on discrepancies and works with OSACB business line partners to make appropriate corrections or adjustments. Responds to and resolves inquiries from business line partners. The candidate may also help to support the OSACB team through answering questions for peers, researching outages, and fulfilling additional duties as assigned.


**Qualifications:**



Basic Qualifications



- High school diploma or equivalent



- Personal computer and 10 key skills required



- Five or more years of experience in financial accounting activities







Preferred Skills/Experience



- Ability to identify and escalate exception items



- Ability to interpret data



- Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously



- Ability to work with team members of varying backgrounds and learning abilities



- Basic knowledge of U.S. Bancorp operations, policies and procedures



- Effective verbal and written communication skills
